The Cheam Range
The Cheam Range is a mountain range in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, near Chilliwack, and is part of the Skagit Range of the Canadian Cascades. It's known for its rugged peaks and is visible from many areas of the Fraser Valley, including the "Four Sisters" (Cheam, Lady, Baby Munday, and Stewart Peaks).
Three different mining operations have existed in this range between 1910 to 1980. Industrial debris was left behind from all separate mining operations. This is a photo/video essay of the initial trash survey, gathering and bundling of the debris and removing of the debris. No matter the amount of labour, mining trash will always remain on site due to the complexity of physical weight of the trash and difficulty of terrain.
